Software and Open Standards under the RoP of the EP

  Dear all,

Please be invited to share with your friends this invitation to participate
in a public consultation on the study we have commissioned:

*Ensuring utmost transparency -- Free Software and Open Standards under the
Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament*

<http://euwiki.org/Ensuring_utmost_transparency_--_Free_Software_and_Open_Standards_under_the_Rules_of_Procedure_of_the_European_Parliament>
The final study is scheduled to be published on 15 November.

I want to add that the chapter on *The Constitutional Principle of Openness
under European Law*
<http://euwiki.org/Ensuring_utmost_transparency_--_Free_Software_and_Open_Standards_under_the_Rules_of_Procedure_of_the_European_Parliament#The_Constitutional_Principle_of_Openness_under_European_Law>
would probably be of general interest with regards to EP's transparency
obligations in many of its activities.

Thank you for your contribution.

//Erik
