AUWCL is offering a special short course this summer on the WTO TRIPS agreement co-taught by Antony Taubman, Director, Intellectual Property Division of the World Trade Organization, and myself.

This course will feature in depth discussions of World Trade Organization panel and appellate body cases involving intellectual property disputes followed by in-class exercises applying the legal concepts to simulated disputes.

Particular issues focused on in the course will include WTO analysis of the US Special 301 program, India Patent Act section 3(d), fair use and the 3-step test and in-transit seizures.
