In a Notice of Dispute dated December 30, 2019 to the president of
Colombia, Uber maintains that Uber’s protected investments in Colombia
includes ... (iii) “intellectual property rights,” including the right
to license the use the Uber Platform, including the Uber applications,
websites, content, and products, as well as the Uber trademark and
associated goodwill, in Colombia;

The order of Colombian government for Uber to cease making the Uber
Platform available to drivers and riders is in breach of investor
protection obligations under the Colombia-US FTA, argued Uber.
