Dear colleagues,

I want to alert you that the applications are due tomorrow to propose a talk or hold a session at this year's special online intersession of the Global Congress on IP and the Public Interest. The online event will be focused on issues at the intersection of IP and COVID.

The Congress was launched in 2011 at American University by a group of partners interested in promoting exchanges between academics and advocates to promote positive social change. If your work would benefit this audience and the world, and has a dimension that is relevant to the COVID pandemic, I encourage you to submit a short proposal tomorrow. Options for proposals include individual talks (5-15 min), panel discussions and training workshops.

This year's event is being hosted by a coalition of Colombian NGOs and researchers. Sessions in Spanish or Portuguese or English are welcomed (there will be translation).

More information and the proposal link are at: http://www.globalcongressip.org/home-2/intellectual-property-week/

With kind regards,
