This should say that the October text "HAS been substantially changed."
I have been asked to assist the EU Greens prepare an analysis of ACTA
and Access to Medicines, to be used by the Parliament in considering
whether to endorse the final agreement.
To solicit the broadest possible input into this process, PIJIP has
established a web-based library for documents and articles examining the
intersection of ACTA and Access to Medicines.
I am particularly interested in receiving analysis of the final ACTA
text, as much of the civil society analysis of this issue was of the
October text, which has been substantially changed.
Contributions to the library by c.o.b. Monday July 18 will be considered
for the first draft of the analysis to the Parliament, to be completed
the week of August 3, 2011.
The week of August 7, the draft analysis will be posted on a public
website for feedback on the draft analysis and additional contributions
to the library.
I will finalize the analysis after a public comment period by a date to
be determined according to the parliament's schedule for considering the
adoption of ACTA.
Please help me in this important task.
