Campaign in New Delhi, India.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
The Access Campaign Legal Adviser – India position seeks to give legal and
technical support to the MSF Campaign Coordinator India and on request to
the MSF Access Campaign generally. Also, he or she seeks to assist the MSF
Campaign Coordinator – India in carrying out the agreed MSF Campaign action
plan for India.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Participates in the development of the CAME action plan for India.

   - Is fully responsible to ensure that accurate and timely information on
   the relevant patents on key HIV medicines is supplied to the Campaign HQ in
   Geneva for the regular updating of the publication “Untangling the Web”.
   - Assists in providing analysis and strategic advice on policy
   developments in India that are relevant to access and innovation for
   essential health technologies (medicines, vaccines, diagnostics and
   nutrition).
   - Assist in analysing the impact of intellectual property (IP)
   agreements and policies on access and innovation for medical technologies,
   and recommending appropriate strategies to mitigate negative effects.
