[Ip-health] Global Health Conference March 21-22

The American University Washington College of Law, Pan American Health
Organization, and Royal Norwegian Embassy in Guatemala are pleased to
present the Inaugural Conference on Global Health, Gender and Human
Rights. The Conference will feature plenary presentations and breakout
sessions on the human rights and global health challenges associated
with 1) disabilities and mental health, 2) maternal morbidity and
mortality, 3) access to medicines, 4) aging, 5) tobacco control, and 6)
discrimination based on gender identity. Conference participants will
help formulate recommendations that will serve to advance the use of
international human rights instruments and standards as tools to improve
health policies in the Americas and around the world.  

 

The Conference will be held at the American University Washington
College of Law in Washington, DC on March 21 and 22, 2012. Registration
