Would it be possible to post this to the list serve? Many thanks.
Emily Bleimund, Senior Policy Advisor at the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Global Affairs (330 C Street, SW), is seeking a Summer 2014 law student intern to assist with projects relating to the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), global and regional pharmaceutical intellectual property issues, tobacco control, and various other issues involving the intersection of public health and international trade. A strong interest, and preferably some background, in public health issues is preferred. Prior coursework in international trade law and policy is strongly preferred. Many of the projects deal with highly sensitive confidential information, for which a security clearance is needed, therefore the intern may not have access to all materials, but will be critical in providing necessary background research and other preparation for meetings and negotiations on these issues. The position is unpaid. Please forward a cover letter and resume to Emily at emily.bleimund at hhs.gov<mailto:emily.bleimund at hhs.gov>. Consideration of applications will begin immediately.
