Dear Contact Group Members,

On behalf of the selection panel, we are pleased to announce the outcome
of the call to reconstitute the membership of the/Communities Living
with and Affected by HIV, TB and Malaria and those Co-infected with HIV
and HCV Delegation to the Board of UNITAID/ ("Communities Delegation").

The reconstituted Communities Delegation will have a maximum of 30
members and will strive to achieve 5 Delegates from HIV, 5 from malaria,
5 from tuberculosis, 5 from Hep C and 10 from cross-cutting areas such
as market dynamics, pricing, new drug product development and
intellectual property. Following the first open call for members, a
selection panel consisting of the Delegation's Board Member, Alternate
Board Member, two Key Advisors, Louis da Gama and Nelson Otwoma, and the
Liaison Officer was set up and applicants were short-listed according to
the predefined criteria, together with an assessment in relation to the
written responses received.

After a robust assessment and selection process, the following members
were chosen to take the revitalised Communities Delegation forward:
- Mrs Mercy Annapoorani, India (areas of expertise: TB, HIV)
- Mr Pablo Anamaria, Peru (HIV, TB, IP)
- Mr Endy Fekadu Endalkachew, Ethiopia (TB, HIV)
- Ms Faith Nakigudde, Uganda (Malaria, HIV)
- Mrs Carol Nawina Nyirenda, Zambia (HIV, TB, Malaria, IP)
- Mrs Olivia Ngou, Cameroon (Malaria)
- Mr John Rock, Australia (HIV, TB, HCV, IP, access)

The reconstituted Communities Delegation includes individuals with deep
expertise and experience of UNITAID's scope of work, representative from
across the disease areas and regions. In order to further strengthen the
Delegation, a *second Call for Membership will be launched in May 2016*
and we encourage community representatives to apply for membership of
the Delegation.

The Delegation Leadership is very pleased to welcome the new members and
we look forward to working with them closely in the future. For more
information on the role of the Delegation members and the Delegation's
mission, vision, goals and charter, please find the Delegation Handbook
