USTR just sent out the schedule for the Special 301 hearing on March 8,
2018. 21 trade associations, civil society NGOs and academies will testify.
Everyone is given 10 minutes, including questions, but persons testifying
can provide additional materials to the Special 301 committee. For “full
consideration” those comments have to be filed by March 14, 2018.

2018 SPECIAL 301 PUBLIC HEARING
March 8, 2018 – 10:00am – 3:10pm

The Special 301 Hearing is open to the public. All participants and
attendees will be requested to present a government-issued photo ID to
enter the hearing room. Please allow at least 20 minutes for security
processing. Members of the press are welcome to attend.

Format: Each party will appear for a maximum of ten (10) minutes. Parties
are allotted a maximum of five (5) minutes for prepared statements. Five
(5) minutes are reserved for questions presented by the Special 301
Committee.

POST-HEARING COMMENTS
Persons who testify at the hearing may submit supplemental information,
including written responses to hearing questions, to be considered by the
Special 301 Committee. To receive full consideration, please submit
optional supplemental information electronically by midnight on March 14,
2018, via http://www.regulations.gov, docket number USTR-2017-0024. Please
identify the filing by including the following in the “Type Comment” field:
“2018 Special 301 Review – Post-Hearing Submission” and attach your
information as instructed in the Federal Register Notice filing
instructions.
