Snip :

“Given the increase in the pharmaceutical bill in many countries, the
socio-economic components of the use of medicines have reached special
importance in our days. This has meant that national pharmaceutical
policies - components of a national health policy - have gone from the
technical and health level to the economic and social level and even to the
field of human rights, as evidenced by the resolution of the Human Rights
Council approved in the 32nd session that took place in June / July 2016
(1). This resolution, which was co-sponsored by 72 countries, reaffirms
that access to medicines is a fundamental element for the full exercise of
the right to health.”

health, and economic challenges."
