We would like to invite you to submit an article to the special issue of
the HOMA - Human Rights and Business Journal:

"Health related issues of Business and Human Rights". Please see below the

The Homa Journal – from the Human Rights and Business Centre of the Federal
University of Juiz de Fora (Brazil), which is a peer-reviewed, open online
journal funded by the Ford Foundation (more information here:
http://homacdhe.com/journal/en/about/). The expected publication date is
August 2020. *The deadline for submission is May 31*, and the article can
be submitted in English, Portuguese or Spanish. More information is
available on the link above, including publication guidelines.

Topics might include, but are not limited to:

   - The role of transnational corporations and implications to the right
   to health;
   - Cases of violation of the right to health by corporations and access
   to remedies;
   - Human rights and health impact assessments of business activities;
   - International legal framework and national legislation on business and
   human rights applied to the right to health;
   - Possibilities and limitations of the draft UN Legally Binding
   Instrument to Regulate the Activities of Transnational Corporations and
   Other Business Enterprises, specifically related to the right to health;
   - Privatization of health systems, the role of TNCs and implications for
   the implementation of the right to health;
   - Corporate capture of global health governance and national
   decision-making process;
   - Implications of austerity measures to the implementation of the right
   to health and the role of corporations;
   - Universal Health Coverage and the role of TNCs;
   - Implications of international trade and investment agreements to the
   right to health, especially the use of Investor-State Dispute Settlement
   mechanisms.
