Dear all,

As you will have heard, the EU has put out proposals both for copyright reform, and the implementation of the Treaty of Marrakesh.

The library and cultural heritage institution has responded<http://www.ifla.org/files/assets/clm/news/eu_copyright_proposals_-_libraries_and_cultural_heritage_institutions_respond.pdf> to the first<https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/proposal-directive-european-parliament-and-council-copyright-digital-single-market> already (with a sigh of disappointment), and we are looking at the proposals on Marrakesh - on making<http://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/dae/document.cfm?doc_id=17221> and sharing<http://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/dae/document.cfm?doc_id=17219> accessible format copies - to work out if they are really as good as they look.
