[A2k] Stop Internet Censoring by Copyright Law

The National Assembly of South Korea is discussing a bill to amend the
Copyright Act, which gives a copyright agency a power to block access
to websites hosting unauthorised copyright materials. This bill is
more harmful than SOPA and PIPA because the access blocking can be
implemented without any prior judicial review and the copyright agency
is an organisation whose mandate itself is biased to the interests of
copyright holders.

To block this bill from passing the National Assembly, my
organisation, Commons Foundation, created a campaign site
https://stopinternetcensoring.org. Please spread this and take action.

Please contact me if you want to be a co-sponsor of the campaign or
you want to put your quote.

Best regards,
Heesob Nam
