[Ip-health] WIPO patents and health discussions

The WIPO Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP) is now talking
about patents on health.  The relevant proposals for the work program
are the papers listed below.   Right now, the USA is reading what can
only be described as a hard line in-your-face defense of strong
patents.  We are a bit surprised, because USPTO had indicated earlier
it would moderate its position at this meeting, but this clearly is
not happening right now.  Jamie
