Dear colleagues

As in the past, AIDS2014 is being organized in a partnership between the International AIDS Society (IAS), as the convenor, the international community partners including the Positive Womens Network (PWN), the Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+), the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (ICW), the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO), Sidaction, local Australian and regional partners, UNAIDS and its co-sponsors.

The programme committees (Community, Leadership and Accountability, and Scientific) have a central role in defining the conference programme.  Community involvement is an important part of this evolution of the planning process.  As such, the international community partners of the conference are initiating an open call for nominations for the International Programme Committee Co-Chairs.

The purpose of the committees is to provide overall planning and guidance for the development of the Programme at the XX International AIDS Conference in 2014 in Melbourne, Australia. Each committee is comprised of co-chairs) and committee members.

The International Partners will be recommending one of the Co-Chairs for each of the three committees:

*	Community Programme Committee
*	Leadership and Accountability Programme Committee
*	Scientific Programme Committee

Please find enclosed the call for nominations for the AIDS2014 Program Co-Chairs. Please note that the deadline is 12 September.
