People have until Jan 23 to file comments on the proposal to give Sanofi a
monopoly on an Army invented and federal government funded (soup to nuts,
and through Phase III trials) vaccine. KEI and others expect to file
joint comments on 35 USC 209(a)(1) issues this week.

The comment period for the Intent to Grant an Exclusive License of U.S.
Government-Owned Patents published in the Federal Register on Friday,
December 9, 2016, (81 FR 89087), required comments be postmarked on or
before December 24, 2016. The comment period has been extended to January
